In view of the end of the emergency situation, changes have taken place\nin the main regulatory enactments adopted in connection with the spread of\nCovid-19 infection:<\/p>\n\n<p>On June 10, 2020, the \u201cLaw on Coping with the Consequences of the Spread of Covid-19 Infection\u201d entered into force, the aim of which is to restore the general legal order after the end of the emergency situation and to provide support and recovery mechanisms for the Latvian economy.<\/p>\n\n<p>The norms of the new law basically replaced the norms\nof the law &#8220;On Measures for the Prevention and Suppression of Threat to\nthe State and Its Consequences Due to the Spread of Covid-19&#8221;, which expired\nat the same time as the new law entered into force.<\/p>\n\n<p>On June 10, 2020, the \u201cCovid-19 Infection Control Law\u201d entered into force, the aim of which is to restore the general legal order after the end of the emergency situation and to provide measures that ensure the scope of rights and obligations of individuals and effective functioning of state and municipal institutions.<\/p>\n\n<p>The norms of the new law basically replaced the norms\nof the law \u201cOn the Operation of State Authorities During the Emergency Situation\nRelated to the Spread of Covid-19\u201d, which expired at the same time as the new\nlaw came into force.<\/p>\n\n<p>On June 10, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers\u2019 Regulations No. 360 \u201cEpidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid-19 infection\u201d (issued under the \u201cCovid-19 Infection Control Law\u201d) entered into force, the aim of which is to establish epidemiological precautions and restrictions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection.<\/p>\n\n<p>The norms of the new regulations basically replaced\nthe norms of 12.03.2020. Cabinet Order No. 103 \u201cRegarding Declaration of the\nEmergency Situation\u201d (by further easing of existing restrictions) which expired\nas a result of the end of the emergency situation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 10, 2020, the emergency situation in the territory of Latvia ended.
