Yes, there is such an opportunity – obtaining a residence permit by a foreigner who has the status of a self-employed person, but such a residence permit is issued for 1 year, unlike most other types of residence permit, which are issued for 5 years. There are certain basic requirements:
- business plan approved by the sworn auditor for the year;
- documents that confirm sufficient funds to start the activities specified in the business plan;
- permission (license, certificates), if work will be carried out for which a permit is required.
When undergoing the annual renewal of the ID card, the foreigner will need to submit the opinion of the sworn auditor that the previous business plan has been completed.
